Trimming bat

Using a rubber shelf liner, I created my own trimming bat!  I simply traced the bat on the liner, cut it out with an Exacto knife, and used some Elmer's glue to stick it on.  For the long run I will probably switch to a stronger glue, but I needed the bat pronto, and Elmer's made it happen.

I used a sharpie to add circles for easier centering.  I'll be the first to admit that this isn't the best tool for trimming.  You definitely have to watch your pressure (like anything else on the wheel) BUT, it beats having to use lugs especially in production mode.

Now I can zip through these babies in no time!
